On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show, Candice talks about how the pendulum has swung back towards common sense in Canada and away from the worst excesses of the militant woke ideology.
And yet, our cultural gatekeepers and elite opinion-makers continue to impose this deranged ideology with ever-more fervor.
Candice is joined today by National Post columnist and former nurse Amy Eileen Hamm. Amy was pushed out of her profession for opposing the radical hard-left views that are forced upon so many Canadians, often by professional bodies and unions.
Amy and Candice discuss the recent Juno News bombshell that nurses are now forced to adhere to an ethics guide that denounces “white, European” medicine, among other radical statements.
Amy discusses how these views are not commonly held by most nurses, and yet, people are afraid to speak out or say no because of what has happened to her and other activists.
They also discuss the story of an American Christian rock singer who has been deplatformed and banned from singing at a Nova Scotia national park because he holds unacceptable views.
Next, they discuss Amy’s recent National Post column where she asserts that Mark Carney may appear more moderate and reserved than his predecessor, but actually, Canada is more woke than ever.
Finally, in a segment too spicy for YouTube and exclusive for Juno News viewers, they discuss how the CBC gaslights Canadians into thinking it’s okay for boys to pretend to be girls and that a confused transgender child’s feelings are more important than the physical safety of girls playing sports.
