Alberta Premier Danielle Smith delivered a scathing rebuke of Mark Carney and Naheed Nenshi in the Alberta Legislature this week while defending her government’s efforts to protect Alberta from U.S. tariff threats.
Smith also blasted Mark Carney for flip-flopping on his stance regarding the oil and gas emissions cap after a new report showed Alberta would bear the brunt of the economic fallout if the cap is implemented.
In Calgary, Conservative candidate Amanpreet Singh Gill is under scrutiny for previously donating to the Liberals and George Chahal’s riding association.
