Hopes were high for Republican Party of Alberta leader Cameron Davies in last night’s Olds-Didsbury-Three Hils by-election, with speculation that Davies could win over 30% of the vote. In the end, Davies received just 17%, even finishing behind the socialist NDP candidate in the very conservative riding, with Danielle Smith's UCP winning a commanding 61% of votes in the riding. In an exclusive for Juno News, True North’s Isaac Lamoureux caught up with Davies immediately following his defeat for his exclusive response.
