Alberta political influencer Lawrence Magee, who runs the account Berta Proud Dad, has launched a website allowing parents and students to report teachers they believe are violating the province’s new education rules.
The site, ReportATeacher.ca, allows users to submit photos, along with a teacher’s name and school. Magee says he plans to bring the reports to Alberta’s education minister for follow-up.
The initiative follows concerns about teachers allegedly finding ways around restrictions on political and ideological displays in classrooms. Magee says the effort is not specifically about Pride flags, but about keeping political symbols and ideology out of classrooms. Keep Reading
