Canada rejects over 50% of all World Cup tourist visas

On this episode of Ratio'd, Harrison Faulkner examines Canada's World Cup visa crackdown, the allegations of immigration fraud behind it, and the debate it has sparked online

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has reportedly rejected over half of all World Cup-related tourist visa applications, significantly cracking down on potential visa fraud case.

The World Cup data from Canada's immigration department mirrors overall visa declines and is a positive signal that Canada's immigration reforms are, at least in this case, actually working.
