LEVY: Liberal convention shamefully paraded floor-crossers as political trophies

Like a bunch of arrogant and self-important Mean Girls, PM Mark Carney and his Liberal lapdogs spent half of this past weekend’s convention trotting out their newly acquired trophies.
Their efforts to rub the easily bought and bribed floor crossers in our faces came off as nauseating and puerile instead of whatever purpose they intended (to show us how powerful they are, I guess).
Nauseating because the Liberals under Emperor Carney have shown there are no depths to which they aren’t prepared to stoop and no moral imperative whatsoever driving them.
Winning a majority by encouraging weak, greedy and over-ambitious dullards in the other parties to join the immoral Liberals is not exactly the win they think it is except to consolidate more power under a leader who hasn’t (and likely won’t) accomplish a damn thing.
We were forced to see the fashion-challenged frump Marilyn Gladu — in her new (likely taxpayer-funded) red jacket — paraded out with Emperor Carney at the outset of the convention as if he was entering Rome.
It was nothing short of obnoxious.
Former TVO host Steve Paikin reminded us in a tweet how much floor crosser Matt Generoux lacks a moral compass when he declared to the convention attendees that since he made his move, he has no trouble sleeping at night.
Traitor Chris D’Entremont played to the crowd when he called himself a recovering Conservative, mocking addiction, it seems.
All I can say is that after being used by the Liberals for their 15 minutes of fame, I sincerely hope they enjoy the back benches.
It is interesting to note that Lori Idlout was not feted at the convention.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Idlout’s son and stepson have both been charged with alleged sex crimes, the stepson with alleged sex assaults and the son with alleged offences related to child pornography.
The fifth floor crosser, Michael Ma —who has been criticized for his alleged ties to China —was also nowhere to be seen.
The Liberals wouldn’t want a cold dose of reality impacting the fantasies they constantly serve up to brainwashed Canadians.
In fact, the entire convention was some kind of performative circle-jerk, long on bullshit, short on substance.
Diana Fox Carney’s speech was so delusional, I wondered if she’d been paid to deliver her lies or truly believed in what she was saying.
I highly doubt university students of Canadian professors with a high BS meter are requiring their students to read Carney’s Davos speech, as she claimed.
And I highly doubt she and the PM are being stopped in the street to be congratulated, as she bragged. I highly doubt they even walk the streets and mingle with the riff-raff.
She says Canadians have told her they can sleep at night knowing Carney is in office.
Except for the increasing numbers of professionals leaving Canada, or those stumbling from paycheque to paycheque, I guess.
In her dreams, perhaps.
The Carneys are so delusional.
Yet her words, echoed repeatedly by her husband, about a New World Order, were chilling.
The eerily similar words were used in Nazi Germany.
In German, it was Neurodnung Europe – The New Order of Europe.
The phrase was a core propaganda tool that stood for the planned geopolitical, racial and economic reorganization of Europe under Nazi rule.
It has also been tied to a theory that left-wing “elites” are trying to manipulate nations and certain actors for nefarious reasons.
Given Carney’s efforts to ban or sideline critical media voices that question his lack of accountability and poor performance, his control of the media and his caucus, his constant use of cheesy videos on social media to pump up his narrative (as if he’s really accomplished something) and the way he’s been able to manipulate the weak-minded to hate Donald Trump and Americans, I sense manipulation is high on his agenda.
How many times do we need to listen to his bullshit about building strong?
He’s done nothing in the past year but spend more than $500K on catering for his flights around the world.
Never mind that he has bought himself a majority government by likely bribing weak Conservatives and an NDP’er to cross the floor—a majority that will no doubt be locked into place with the by-elections on Monday.
Never mind that he refuses to negotiate with Donald Trump because he’s just that much of a toxic narcissist and a nation destroyer, not a nation builder.
The average thinking Canadian with insight knows how dangerous Carney is for Canada and how much of a laughingstock we are south of the border.
We saw how unctuous, smug and obnoxious the Liberals and their paid media were this past weekend.
But as I’ve said before and will repeat, far too many Canadians are low-information lazy thinkers and easily duped by this performative nonsense.
Oh Canada, I sincerely worry about the next three years under these Liberal fraudsters.
