During a keynote address at the Liberal Party National Convention, Prime Minister Mark Carney warned Canadians that tough times were ahead as he promised nation-building projects and a leading role in establishing a “New World Order.”

At the convention in Montreal on Saturday, amid a backdrop of the Carney government being set to seize an unprecedented majority government, helped by five floor crossers in just six months, Carney told Canadians there would be “headwinds and black ice” ahead before promising a host of building projects and fewer barriers to trade.
