Unfortunately there are Canadian politicians who don’t want our country to survive or so it would seem !

Agreed. Even the " Team Canada" speak has pretty much disappeared- again.

I call your comment based on what I've seen and heard as a logical conclusion.

If past performance is any indicator, this is simply more stalling and weaselspeak from Carny and the Liberals.

Carny is not required to get anyone's approval to green light a pipeline. This is a National Infrastructure project. He has the authority to override any objections from David Thurnburg-Edy.

All it requires from Carny is a modicum of spine. I'm not hopeful.

Not unlike Carney's predecessor he has a lot of amoeba in himself too.

I would say Carney is concerned about optics but actually has the same agenda as Eby to kill the economy

But I think the snake Carney is worried about optics. He's Mr Net Zero and has created part of his reputation on support for the climate apocalypse nonsense. The former UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance. Imagine him over riding the Indian Industry, and Eby to push though a " nation building" , " economic superpower " project like an oil pipeline. It would be crushing for the Net Zero zealot to do such a thing.

The snake's " consensus " card is his savior.

The answer is nothing. It's all politics. Then Independence will happen. And then action will come too. We can ship through the US, and we can stop transport of BC goods from crossing Alberta. At which point the dolt in BC will be begging for us to ship oil to their ports.

There won't be any pipeline. Carney can grant anything he wants but after the Indians, woke mob and his own MP's veto it Carney will just say well I tried.

Carney is noise and empty promises!!! He doesn’t care about Canada, he’s too busy with his Davos elites poo pooing on poor carbon electorates :(

If Ottawa puts up numerous conditions then their words mean nothing. Alberta must declare independence if we have to obtain approval from everyone who opposes the pipeline.

Wyatt Claypool nailed it! 100% correct on Carney & pipelines

Thank heavens Wyatt said what we all know to be true…Carney has NO intention of getting a pipeline through. He will dither around and say that he tried but he can’t go against the provinces or the indigenous know it alls. He DOES NOT care about Canada….how often does this have to hit us in the face! There are indigenous groups that are in favour of the pipelines because they know they will have good jobs and their tribe will prosper from it. Pierre needs to fight for this and just keep hammering away at it to make us see how beneficial it would be for all of us. Keep fighting Canada…
