Separate trade deals, or none at all, are exactly what many Canadians have seen coming! Mexico’s Sheinbaum has cooperated to best of her ability with the US. Canada has made concerted efforts on all fronts NOT TO COOPERATE OR TO EVEN TRY! Quite the opposite!! Much of our trade with the US is still covered under the North American Trade Pact and is, therefore tariff free, contrary to what Carney tells Canadians. The Government of Canada needs a 'Reign of Terror' on speech, and the media used to share it, in order to cover up their long list of financial and other crimes from the last several decades of incompetence, carpetbagging, nepotism, kickbacks fraud, tyranny, and misrule.

First, morality cannot be legislated. It simply cannot.
Second, by any standard of measurement, to anyone whose eyes are open, this is the most overtly corrupt government in Canada's history - outdone only by its incompetence. This government has zero concept of what morality is. How can they even attempt to legislate it?
In the midst of our current fiasco, we are drowning in debt, our economy close to ruin, our allies vanished, we are no longer on speaking terms with our next door neighbour, our criminal justice system is farce, immigration levels are suicidal and Confederation itself is in danger of dissolution, etc, etc, etc. Yet through all this Liberal inflicted failure, and while Canada fades into international insignificance, they relentlessly focus on C9.

There is good reason why Canada might want a separate agreement with the US and it involves crime ridden Mexico cheating on auto parts manufactured elsewhere and relabelled made in Mexico. Such cheating ruins the whole purpose of the trade agreement.
The problem is that Canada is just as bad a cheater and has allowed China and India to relabel steel as made in Canada costing jobs in Canada and US. This is one of the reasons Trump gives us a hard time on steel as he was fighting this back in his first term, won and Justin reverted back to cheating as soon as Trump was defeated.
