Prime Minister Mark Carney and U.S. President Donald Trump appeared together in Washington, D.C., today at events tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Trump said he plans to speak with both Canadian and Mexican leaders about stalled trade discussions, but has suggested he may let the three-country agreement lapse in favour of separate bilateral deals.
