Trump signals MAJOR SHIFT in Canada–U.S. trade deal
President Trump says he may walk away from the North American trade pact as Carney and Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum attend World Cup events in Washington.
Prime Minister Mark Carney and U.S. President Donald Trump appeared together in Washington, D.C., today at events tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Trump said he plans to speak with both Canadian and Mexican leaders about stalled trade discussions, but has suggested he may let the three-country agreement lapse in favour of separate bilateral deals.
Back in Canada, major backlash is building over new Liberal–Bloc amendments to Bill C-9, which critics warn could criminalize certain passages from religious texts. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says the changes amount to an attack on freedom of expression and religion.

Separate trade deals, or none at all, are exactly what many Canadians have seen coming! Mexico’s Sheinbaum has cooperated to best of her ability with the US. Canada has made concerted efforts on all fronts NOT TO COOPERATE OR TO EVEN TRY! Quite the opposite!! Much of our trade with the US is still covered under the North American Trade Pact and is, therefore tariff free, contrary to what Carney tells Canadians. When it expires, our trading costs will skyrocket! Exactly what Carney’s globalist colleagues at the WEF have hoped would happen! And like he did to get his lying ass elected, he’ll have Trump to blame for every teensie-weensie problem!! A quick and dirty road to complete collapse of Canada….and a quick and dirty takeover by Beijing!
