Although I agree, for the most part, with Premier Smith, I don't believe she's going far enough with Alberta's sovereignty. As it is right now, it doesn't matter who sits in government in Ottawa, we're still vulnerable to their ideological whims.

Dr. Peterson's comments about the state of Canada were correctly to the point about what is making Canada unpalatable for the people who produce and pay for it.

Anita Anand is just a Liberals, let's just do the rail without knowing how this will affect the rest of Canada, only for Ontario and again Quebec. So disgusted hearing about Quebec, Quebec, Quebec, and Quebec. They want, they want, me, me, now, now. Just because they have a bigger population does not make them better than the rest of Canada. Do not understand this hierarchy of this province. Are they Canadian or not? This is a division because of language as well and disgusted hearing that too. Quebec costs all Canadians a lot of money. Do not blame all Quebecers but do blame their levels of government - greed seems to be their right and they dictate what is right for the rest of Canada. There are other provinces that deserve the same consideration and Alberta should fight giving Quebec most of the equalization money, and Canadians should start sticking up for all Canadians and express our non-consent on the equalization of Alberta funds. It is called equalization and is not meant that Quebec get most of it. Actually Alberta should decide how much to give and to which provinces they choose to help in every given year. Federal gov't should mind their own business, it is not their job. The Federal Gov't should only be for protect and serve Canadians not just Quebec.

Glad to see your back. I do agree with Daniel Smith, the best outcome would be for Canada to get its act together. No trade barriers. Take advantage of its resources. But it might be a pipe dream.
