I have not gone to a TH since about 2012 . When you can no longer understand them it is time to go . I used to go to TH most every day and bought dozens of donuts, but then they stopped making fresh donuts and opted for fast frozen and re-heated, so I was left with just the coffee and finally quit that about 2012 .

I read the largest shareholder is a Brazilian Investment Firm with 32%. Regardless, I would be hard pressed to support Tim’s anymore with their Temporary Foreign Employment, when I actually see young Canadians not able to get a job, even at that level.
I haven't been to a Tim Horton's in a very long time. When I did frequent that establishment some 15 plus yrs ago. There wasn't any Canadian youth or Canadians in general working at any location.
I would say now 100% are non-Canadian working at any given Tim's just about anywhere in Canada. It's not only disgraceful, but it shows as a society and culture, how much Canada has lost its identity.
My experience with Tim Hortons since the ownership change some years ago is that the food quality is low, the staff tend to be unfriendly, and the places are often not clean. Even the coffee is not that good. I think it’s surviving on the fumes of its old reputation. That might be the real reason for them going bankrupt.
A broken Brand. Poor to terrible product delivered by staff that are indifferent at best and disgusting at worst. Haven’t been there in years and never will in the years to come.
The title of this article sounds like it may be a surprise to the reader to discover that at some Tim Hortons TFWs make up 80% of the staff. I’d like someone to find me a Tim Hortons where the staff isn’t 95% TFW. Other than time travelling to A.D. 1990, I doubt I can find one.

,but I met many of the Real Indian students who going to 2 colleges here, and they were mostly very pleasant, and some even mentioned when travelling here from India there were ALOTTA know criminals/ gangsters travelling them (under the student visa SCAM)..and when the Gov't shut that down and dozens of courses cut..sending thousands of students home!! The ones I had met had left..but pretty sure the criminals DIDN'T..and when that was brought up in Question Period, our then Immigration Minister.(Marc Miller..the rat bastard) stood up and said "we expect those (gangsters) will find their way back to India on their own!! "..😱 😳 🤔 🙄..That asshole thinks we're as stupid as HE looks..
Any business that requires federal subsidies of 50% of wage costs for TFW does not have the right to exist. To put our grandchildren further in debt just to drink foul brown water is not the franchisee’s fault but solely the Liberal government’s fault

I seem to recall reading that as well but in that article there seemed to be some rather "suspicious" links to US based investment firms and capital.
