The Liberal government’s claims that late-term abortions are “rare” and only happen for “serious medical issues” have been directly challenged by a pro-life group that went undercover.
This is so BARBARIC and absolutely breaks my heart. I am a nurse and I had NO idea it was legal to abort past 16 weeks!! I work in an office where this past summer one of our patients killed her child at over 31 weeks gestation. It has affected me deeply and I have been moved to participate in pro-life advocacy. It's also extremely offensive to those who have actually experienced the loss of a stillborn baby, to register these poor souls as such. Not only do our tax dollars fund these atrocities, they pay for the passports and transportation to the US in situations where there are too many late-term abortions to accommodate in a timely manner. Canada having no abortion law is unfathomable. We should be doing so much better. WE NEED A LAW and I have recently come upon a website of the same name. I have reached out to my MP and I plan to obtain and submit petition signatures.
There are waiting lists of good families that want to adopt.
I believe that if the process was more transparent and individuals understood the details of the physical and emotional trauma, many times, a different decision would be made.
Spiritually, this child sacrifice to the god of convenience, Satan.
This issue is a spiritual battleground issue requiring much love and prayer.
