I might be a little dumb, but I believed that the tariff of Trump put on could’ve been avoided if we get our border, criminals and drug exports to the states in line.

Trump is right when he says Canada and the US together could really be something. All the government had to do was participate in win win border control and voila this whole crap is avoided and we all benefit.

I agree. We should have been doing that without having to be threatened. Our Provincial and Federal govts haven't been listening to the citizens of Canada concerning the utter failure of the ridiculous safe drug sites and the insanity that is our so called immigration policies. It's a free for all and Canada's safety has been compromised.

A border has two sides so for decades in the past we did have good US Canadian control. Apparently Kenney under Harper was good as immigration minister. It’s only recently under JT that things went to crap. This is all on the Liberals.

Just exactly why are the liberals allowd to appoint the first Prime Minister in Canada's history to be appointed why did the Prime Minister not step down and turn it over to an elected mp or cabinet minister like all other resigning Prime Minister's why are they allowd to put the first ever unelected appointed Person in the Prime Minister's Chair?

Because all the parties are playing the same game, using us as pawns on a board they endlessly change the rules to suit themselves. There hasn't been a real Opposition to the elected government in many years. They give lip service if even that, we cheer them on and elect them and the game starts all over again. To this end. Carney may well be our dictater now and we will not, as I've been saying since the last election, have any more elections. In my humble opinion.

Trump is unjustified? Pierre is unjustified. I do not agree at all with the war like behaviour and he also agreed & supported the war in Ukraine which is actually agreeing that people should die on both sides, wars are against all children. Why didn't anyone try peace talks? Do your homework Pierre before shooting off your ego mouth. You should focus on fixing Canada's role in what is going on and we all know Trudeau is not doing anything. I see Trump as a patient man waiting for Canada to wake up. Wake up Pierre, you are looking more like a Liberal. People are looking past this aggressive behaviour, I am watching as are many Canadians. Will not vote for war mongers. Would you want to send your children to war? Peace.

I absolutely agree with you Nicole. I also don't like how he dodged the question on the world health organization and the Paris Accord. We should be out of any globalist organization that is not in our best interest. Including the United Nations and NATO both are corrupt warmongering globalist elites funneling money at the expense of people's lives.

Expand full comment
Farmer P's avatar

Obviously those organizations are bad and prime candidates to opt out of, i very much doubt PP disagrees with that. However this is politics right now. An election is around the corner and not even called yet. Hes facing an up hill battle of winning over a country of ppl who by population are historically very much "democrats". I think it would be highly unwise for PP to start spouting off in some interview how he would pull out of all these nasty globalist institutions giving the enemy exactly what they want to compare him to the "evil orange man".

Carol's avatar

It is deceptive and dishonest. We've had enough of that in this country. He needs to be a strong leader right now he's not.

Farmer P's avatar

Lol I'm with u Carol, it would be wonderful to have full-on bulldozer conservative PP using dynamite to clear all the garbage that's destroying Canada. I'm just trying to make the point that if he tries that, there's no way he'll end up being the leader in a country full of truly liberal people that are inflicted with a deadly leftist mind disease. You have to pick your battles and be smart about it to even get into a position to make change! He's playing politics. Right or wrong doesn't play into politics sadly. But it is a means to an ends.

Carol's avatar

Although I agree with you. I don't like how he flip flops to cater to the polls. What happens when people are pissed because it is not going to be easy cleaning up the mess? We can't have a flip flop government. He is just not strong enough or conservative enough.

Expand full comment
Farmer P's avatar

Well respectfully I disagree, I think maybe you might be mistaking his cautiousness with flip floping. I've watched this guy for years before he was in the limelight of becoming conservative leader. He was an absolute pitbull against leftist ideology. I think what you want him to be is Maxime Bernier. Fine OK. I personally like mad Max too! But how far will that really get us? Our corrupt system won't even allow him at the debates! They keep manipulating the rules to keep him out. Of course it's evil and wrong. But it still happened and it's still reality. I just don't see how being more forceful with proper conservatism furthers our agenda of taking back Canada if you can't even get in the door of the control room.

Watch Lorne Gunter’s short explanation why the Trump tariffs are not justified in “Thanks for Nothing Trump” on the Toronto Sun’s channel. As for the two wars, Putin wasn’t interested in peace talks and Hamas is only interested in eradicating Israelis. So perhaps you should do some homework.

Nicole's avatar

There are many beliefs, thoughts, and perceptions. I speak for myself, have done research. observed for many years. Toronto Sun is just gov't paid media. There is so much disinformation and lies from these paid off media. War is war and it is strange Trump was able to get many countries to reach peace talks while Canada had not even tried and feed it with our money. So maybe you should do some homework, look into your heart instead of believing the programs that humanity is awaking from and see a new reality.

Well, Juno News isn't govt funded. Also, things are way more complex than what you make it out to be. Ukraine has its issues, but it also shouldn't be invaded by Russia either. The writing for Russia invading Ukraine was on the wall since 2014, yet everybody waited for Russia to launch a full out war before doing anything about it. Israel also has the right to defend itself from terrorist attacks, and even go to the lengths to prevent them from happening again. I quite frankly also believe the holy land should have protection as well. As a Christian, I seriously don't understand why jewish people receive so much hate, and are constantly scapegoated. both countries can receive our support without us going to war, and that doesn't make us "war mongers" either. if you think that is what Pierre is because of this stance, then you don't know the actual meaning of the term. There is only one reality. What you are trying to preach is perspective, but reality is human nature will always have conflict. How we go about addressing the conflict is the real issue. The support for ending these conflicts could be better, but there have been many factors over the last 15 years alone that have made these extremely hard to navigate. Such as, dealing with a nuclear power, or a group that has a constitution which believes in genocide of an entire race. Seriously, instead of trying to ignore what other people are saying, let's try to have a discussion about this and come to an understanding of our different perspectives.

You have the right to choose to perceive this situation throw the eyes of others. But this is not about the eyes of the Polish but Ukraine and Russia. Since the beginning of this war, stories not covered on mainstream have slipped through even though much information has been blocked by our gov't and as we get closer to whole the truth, we are given right and left ideas and we choose what we feel is right and believe. War is war and right now apparently Poland wants more war with Russia. Russia has been attacked physically, spiritually and mentally by a world programmed to hate based on lies and greed. This is called creating an illusion by the Deep State active and growing since WW1. Our world is changing to be a new world right now, and pray for all that have been harmed and for all the children who have lost everything & everybody they loved because adults cannot get along with each other and kill based on country, religions, colour, etc. No matter what has happened or the opinions of others, this senseless killing has to stop. If those that believe war is the way to peace go to the front line and fight for your own beliefs. This belief is senseless, this too is just another mind program and we are all responsible for our actions, beliefs, and accepted perceptions. You are human and your needs are like everyone's on this world, love, peace, joy, food, housing, security and freedom. Open your heart and see your own light.

I am frustrated at the lack of accountability there is even from @pierrepoilieve about why Trump has gone after Trudeau. We have a serious crisis with high level gov't corruption, drugs, China, Mexico, etc infiltration. USA is surrounded by enemies. We are an enemy to them and ourselves and have been for decades and yes during the Harper era too. This supposedly got a strong foothold with Pierre Trudeau. Trump had to do this to force Canadian accountability for this disaster. This needs to be #1 priority. Getting rid of carbon tax is a given with Pierre, the border crisis needs to be brought to the forefront. Then you can work with Trump, he isn't going to work with us till then.

we shouldn't play the blame game, perhaps we could start by accepting personal responsibility for sitting idly by for over 50 years as the nation was being sold out to foreign interests by both the PET Liberals and Mulroney Conservatives, granted our political cartels have divided and misled the people for decades and as a result much of this country and its assets are owned by communist china and totalitarian globalists. Trump's tariffs have simply exposed our weakness and the underbelly of corruption in the country, we owe the USA our gratitude and support yet our political parties are once again gas lighting Canadians, wanting us to believe that if they just talk tough with our superpower ally who have protected this broken country and provided us with the majority of the economic opportunity and employment we all have enjoyed and benefited from and if we were to alienate the USA Canadians will find out just how much we need them, as I see it the only other option is to bend a knee to the communists ever wonder why we don't hear our politicians talking tough with communist China who took firm hold of this country in 1971 and continue to do so, this is the frightening reality our lifetime illusion that we are strong and free when we are obviously otherwise, this may well be our last call to finally wake up
