That is fundamentally the issue, "are you the premier of a province with the full powers of the constitution, or are you an administrator of a province under federal jurisdiction. " Kenny was a pretend premier working for the federal government. Too many people elected in provincial legislature see themselves as federal wannabes, simple administrators in the federal dept of provincial affairs. Canada's constitution never envisioned a province that was subservient to a federal govt, a province had defined and distinct authority that could not be abrogated but hear we are withe an overreaching, overtaxing and belligerent federal govt imposing it's will upon the provincial domain. The courts chewed up and literally shat out the constitution to suit its needs, they called it "evergreen". Canada is not a post nation state, it is a neo-communist state, with the entire federal apparatus marching Canadians into servitude to the state through overbearing taxation and laws.

Kenney is now and has always been a federalist. He was never an Albertan at heart or in mind-set. In retrospect I think he took on premiering Alberta because he thought we needed to be kept in the “Canadian fold”.

Indeed, the way he shafted Alberta, I believe his true home is somewhere in the bowels of Quebec City...

Covid mandates and shut down did more to divide people, families and contribute to marriage break downs in this country than anything else. Separatist referendum would be minor.

The guy who doesn't know how to fill his own gas tank is going to give us Albertans a lecture on whats best for us? Hah! He might be up crap-creek without a paddle in a FREE ALBERTA, but those of us who know how to do an honest job for a living will be massively better off. If its just lazy politicians and bureaucrats who don't like the idea - then heck, I love it even more!!!

Now he's trying to open his stupid yap for backing the biggest criminals con man and his gangsters. Why is it that Juno is printing this guy's bs. Oh, I guess the truth is maybe slipping, they actually support the con man.

I wonder if Kenney is entertaining the notion of a run for leadership of the federal Conservatives hence he's putting his noise out there to ensure he has name recognition? Or maybe he's just an attention whore?

saying, “What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.” Acts 4:16-17
