As a reasonably informed Jewish senior (now in the 80+ category), I find it somewhat unfathomable that so many purported fellow-seniors would even consider the possibility that four more years of Liberal government - particularly under the leadership of Prime Climateer Carney - would be of benefit to any Canadians of the reasonable and responsible kind.
Let us hope and pray that Canadians are keeping their voting intentions quiet (especially to pollsters) and that they absolutely have not forgotten the disastrous wasteful spending of the last 9+ years by the LPC's combined with the traitorous NDP. Who in their right mind would even consider another Liberal Government unless their votes are bought?

I am old, too, and I have no problem getting news from alternative sources that present a fairly balanced news report on an event rather than the 'progressive' report from the legacy media. Just like they angle pictures to show throngs at Woke rallies when, having witnessed them in the flesh, I saw a sparse gathering or screaming lefties. Having subscribed to a wide gamut of news media throughout my long life, I gave up on the legacy media a decade ago after getting enraged every day by their left-leaning, often radical-left-leaning, rants on everything. It is disappointing that so many of my contemporaries have gained so little wisdom in their long lives. But if the Laurentians once more vote in the Liberals, many more Albertans will turn into separatists and become Albertans first and Canadians a fast-disappearing second.
Sure glad that you can see beyond the end of you nose (figure of speach). There is getting to be many of us. As for my citizenship, I'm an Albertan first and always was. My dad and many people I've had the pleasure of listening to, always informed me how the east uses the west. I've seen some pretty good examples of that. Rail freight and even mail was a two priced system, not to mention the rip off of our tax dollars. That has to stop. All provinces have education and their health, there is no reason what so ever that we have to support any other province. But it's like the natives, once on welfare always on welfare.
I find it unbelievable that despite all the accusations and documented shortfalls of Mr Carney, that Canadian think he is what this country needs at this time. Dont people realize he is one of the chief contributors to the socio-economic problem we are enduring/facing in this country. Plus his financial support for Gaza (indirect support of Hamas) and his refusal to condemned the wave of anti-Semitism in this country. What does the liberal party and this individual have do before people realize what this party has done to this country over the past years and Carney is only going perpetuate this atrocity.
Although I agree with your sentiments, I have a hard time with the "paint with a wide brush" statement, that all boomers are Liberals! I am a boomer, I am a card carrying conservative member and I know the majority of my age group is "NOT" a liberal. I am dumbfounded by all the negative rhetoric concerning the boomers, I here how we destroyed the environment, the economy how we our draining the pension system! All lie's! We boomers are now the smallest population of Canada, due to deaths and aging. If Canadians want to be free and Canada wants its sovereignty back, then we need to say this, "The true enemy of a democracy is Apathy and Compliance", stop finger pointing and admit Canada is in this state because of all Canadians allowing this to happen. When you listen to the elderly in these homes you need to understand only one thing, they are force fed mainstream media and are likely not very tech savvy to research on the internet!
