You mean we can't just throw these creeps out of the House of Commons ! They are well known to be crooked liars, in other words ... outright criminals, and we can't do anything to get rid of them ? Canadians are acting like a collectivity of "Nutcases", including the gutless, weak-kneed Conservatives, and the non-functional RCMP ... Time to dissolve this nation if the Liberals don't all an election today, leader or no leader.

Of course the USA would like unfettered access to Canadian resources. They've wanted it at least since 1775. Let's call it a given.

The pertinent question for Canadians is, as always, what is our country's best path forward. There appear to be three basic choices:

1) Political union with the USA of Canada or parts thereof that the USA would agree to accept.

In this regard, Canadians should keep in mind that the USA is a country born in violent revolution that also endured a devastating Civil War with a high mortality rate from 1861 to 1865. Some believe that the wounds of that Civil War have never healed. Be that as it may, the US by its Constitution is a nation where widely different political opinions abound and are adhered to with vehemence; where "social safety nets" are minimalist; where the gap between rich and poor is dramatic; and where the "right to bear arms" is enshrined in the Constitution. Put simply, the US political and social environment has been one where extremism has flourished. Some people may be quite pleased with the policy direction of the current regime, but they should remember that American politics is volatile. Wokeism, essentially an American phenomenon, may not be dead, just hibernating.

2) A continuation of the same woke, climate alarmist policies that have driven investment away from Canada, increased our dependence on US markets for our goods and almost fatally diminished our negotiating position in trade talks with the US.

3) Return to sound fiscal and monetary policies. Forbid the Bank of Canada from bailing out spendthrift governments through "monetary easing" i.e. expanding the money supply. Make

Canada an attractive place for international investment by easing the regulatory burden and

cutting taxes. Essentially, implement policies that will expand investment, make beneficial use

of our abundant natural resources and give Canada the strongest economy per capita on Earth.

Strengthen our dollar and never take a back seat to another country again.
