Following years of worsening healthcare performance and rising wait times, Canadians are becoming more open to exploring private healthcare, with some ready to make the switch.
" the only game in town" kind of healthcare we have is failing miserably. Wait times and the low-grade care due to no competition in the industry, coupled with an influx of immigrants needing healthcare who have never paid in to the system (yes, it may surprise you that the system is financed by our tax dollars), has amounted to an almost third-world healthcare system.
Let's just hope if there is a switch to private or a two-tier system we see a big reduction in our taxes.
At least a "two-tier".
