Maybe instead our Governments (of all stripes and locations) could try something unique and different.
FIX OUR BROKEN HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS.
AND NO!!!
Stop attracting those which are a 100% drain on those broken systems which could not and can not handle what this country already has within its borders.
Indians of North America, who we now are only allowed to call "Indigenous" attacked other tribes, apparently exhibitied Cannibalistic traits, enslaved those they defeated and worse.
But in the "historical" woke/progressive re-write of history none of that ever happened.
Rinse repeat.
Really though perhaps does not matter any longer.
What used to be Canada is dead.
For that... Thank a Lieberal and those who voted for them and those who appointed that abominations that now call themselves "Judges:.
Our health care system is crumbling, we are paying more to service the debt (over $1 BILLION PER WEEK and growing) than TRANSFERS TO THE PROVINCES FOR HEALTH CARE and the Liberals advertise free health care for immigrants. Pure insanity!
I always enjoy “Off the Record”. I appreciate the varying opinions and you could do a tutorial on not seeing everything the same way but still liking and respecting each other.
Isaac, Newfoundland and Labrador is one of the Atlantic Provinces but it is not a Maritime province. The other three Atlantic Provinces are Maritime Provinces.
New Brunswick is the only province with a Liberal government, but the Yukon also has a Liberal government. The other two territories have non-partisan legislatures.
Ruth, this is the definition of “Maritime Provinces” in the Gage Canadian Dictionary: “the provinces along the east coast of Canada, including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.” This is followed by a note on usage: “The Atlantic Provinces include the Maritime Provinces and Newfoundland and Labrador.” You undermine your own case by bringing Vancouver Island into the mix. If we just went by the definition of maritime: “on or near the sea”, we would have five maritime provinces; British Columbia would be included. Nobody speaks that way.
Walid, Marc Miller is the chairman of the House of Commons Committee on Justice and Human Rights, one of the main committees, so I don't think you should call him a backbencher. You might hurt his feelings.

OH.... Did I say Country??
Is Canada still a country?
Just asking.
Apparently it's "unceded land".
History of those who lost wars...
World wide.
You lose your land and your rights.
Not nice but history is history.

How is Newfoundland not a maritime province? It's an island fcol. That's like saying Vancouver is not an island. Oh, wait...
