This three passport holding, "Proud European" and self acknowledged "elitist" is in Canada to complete the instructions given him by his WEF, Globalist and UN buddies while insuring he dramatically increases his own rather substantial wealth (of which we are to know nothing) and of course that of his associates at Brookfield.
Food prices will never be low so long as there are federal taxes of any sort on the various levels of the food chain. The Liberals are very good at smoke and mirrors taxation. BUt the Liberals can not manage the economy on the GST - a Tax on the after tax dollars that takes 5% of the GNP or more.
Well of course they can't. For the number one reason, The lieberals are the ones causing food inflation. Cause the couldn't keep their sticky fingers out of the pot. Just like all other industry, they get involved with their rules and taxing. Then soon after everything they touch falls into a disaster and disappears.
Food production, distribution, and sales cause cash flow and the Liberals have found ways to tax that cash flow using Carbon taxes before the food hits the grocery store shelves....
Ah yes, but Liberal party backers and Brookfield will provide us with the bugs and bacteria at a profit. Yogurt is a products of bacteria... And natural chocolate is allowed to have percentage of insect parts in it. Apparently gives it "crunch"....
Peas were valuable and the Nobility that owned the land taxed a portion of the crop, seldom leaving the serfs enough to survive on. This is much like Canada where the bureaucracy is becoming the new nobility, and the elected M.P.s are being farmed by the bureaucrats and the backroom of the party in power.

In the US there is no federal taxes on food and no carbon taxes . Here we have GST on many food items plus a carbon tax .
