The Liberal government is refusing to release reports from a Kamloops, B.C., First Nation that received millions to excavate alleged graves of 215 children at a former residential school site.
Since no shovels have gone in the ground at Kamloops, the least they could do is pay back the $12 million. Maybe give it to the churches that burned down so they can rebuild.
There needs to be an audit performed on the utilization of the $12.1M. Like every other Liberal funded endeavor, there is no over sight. Why is that? Care to talk about the Ukraine funding over the past 3 months with MSM headlines announcing corruption and FreeTurf?
There was no credible evidence that there were graves there from the outset. All they found were soil anomalies that later turned out to be almost certainly from a 1924 sewage system. It was only the prime minister’s hysterical reaction and CBC and New York Times false reporting that turned what should have been an easily debunked story into a major new event. Chief Casimir should be charged with fraud, and CBC should fire its incompetent reporters
So the hoax continues and the government under PM Carney continues to allow first nations to milk the Canadian taxpayer when evidence of graves has never been found
I would love to know what kind of vehicles the top few people at Tk’emlups te Secwepemc First Nation drive, what kind of houses they live in, etc. The taxpayers of Canada deserve a factual answer as to where the $$ went, money that each and every one of us had to pony up. My bet is that there was, and still is, some skullduggery going on
So the questions are where did the remains go, and where did the money go?
The government seems to be an expert at taking any opportunity to give away tax dollars and redirect the money to "international endeavours".
In this case, "confidentiality" is the catchword used to hide some alleged reassignment of funds and makes a mockery of real graves and sorrow, and deserved privacy.
Nothing will ever become of this. Canadians are just to unconcerned about what's happening in their own country. Until the mainstream media is separated and defunded, people will refuse to believe.
