As Canadians on the left hate Trump & his rhetoric it is the left in the USA that drools at Canada becoming the 51st state. The democrat socialists of America (dsa) are jealous of how far left Canada has become. The dsa would love the votes that integration would bring. Statehood for Washington DC & Porto Rico plus Canada would give them the Senate & Presidency for generations.
