Ontario Premier Doug Ford says a united Canada could âdismantleâ the U.S. economy and make Americans âfeel the painâ over Trumpâs latest tariff threat.
Speaking ahead of a first ministersâ meeting in Charlottetown on Tuesday, Ford delivered some of his toughest rhetoric yet against the Trump administration.
âWe could dismantle the U.S. if we wanted to, if we all worked together,â he said. âThey need to feel the pain.â

INVESTIGATION: Inside a targeted âcollective actionâ campaign against Canadian companies
Days after Palestine Action Canada claimed responsibility for criminal vandalism at a Vaughan defence manufacturer, activists attending an online strategy session were directed to a toolkit identifying dozens of Canadian companies supplying parts to Israelâs defence industry.
One of the companies listed was Dishon Limited, the same business Palestine Action Canada had taken responsibility for attacking just days prior.
The July 16 webinar, organized through the Arms Embargo Now campaign, is run by a network of pro-Palestine activist groups, some with a chequered past.
During the webinar, organizers from World Beyond War, Palestine Solidarity Network, and the Palestinian Youth Movement identified companies to target and launched a âcoordinated national day of actionâ campaign to increase pressure on businesses they believe are connected to defense technology manufacturer Elbit Systems.
