British comedy icon John Cleese is boycotting British Columbia on his Canadian tour after learning the province’s Human Rights Tribunal slammed a man with a $750,000 fine for his views on transgender ideology.

After a tribunal hit a former Chilliwack school trustee with a massive $750,000 fine to be paid to unnamed transgender teachers for his public opposition to gender ideology, Monty Python comedy star John Cleese announced he would not be going to B.C. He said he feared his comedy and free expression on gender ideology might land him a stiff fine.
