Conservative MP Jamil Jivani says fixing the U.S.-Canada relationship requires a truly non-partisan strategy, offering insight into his recent trip where he met with top U.S. officials and business leaders.

Jivani announced he was on his way to Washington on Tuesday, and by Wednesday, he had already met with U.S. President Donald Trump, Vice-President J.D. Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The meetings were an attempt to ease tensions between the two countries and advocate for a trade deal.
