After years of pressure from anti-regime Iranians and Jewish Canadians, Ontario Premier Doug Ford is finally taking action to shut down the anti-Israel “Al Quds Day” rallies, claiming he’s fulfilling a promise he made eight years ago to stop the hate-filled demonstrations started by Iran’s radical Islamic regime.

Ford released a video Friday, announcing he has instructed his Attorney General, Doug Downey, to “pursue an injunction” to stop the Islamic Regime-backed rally from taking place this Saturday at the U.S. consulate building in Toronto. The same building was recently shot at Tuesday morning, which Ford suggested could have been caused by “Islamic Regime sleeper cells operating in Canada.”
