Carney said he’d have Netanyahu arrested if he entered Canada

In a stunning declaration, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced Thursday that Canada would arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he ever enter the country, citing an International Criminal Court warrant for alleged war crimes.
Carney made the remark in an interview on The Mishal Husain Show, confirming Canada’s commitment to “respect ICC decisions.” He added that Canada’s recent recognition of Palestine was intended to “encourage progress” toward peace and accountability in the region.
The ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu earlier this year. It alleges he is responsible for war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare, intentionally directing attacks against civilians, and crimes against humanity, including murder, persecution and other inhumane acts between Oct. 8, 2023, and May 20, 2024.
Former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant is also named in the warrant. Israel has rejected the charges, calling them politically motivated.
The National Council of Canadian Muslims praised Carney’s comments, saying on X that the prime minister “gave not only the morally correct answer, but the only answer appropriate under international law.” The group added: “We thank him for reaffirming this commitment to international law and our institutions.”
During the same interview with Bloomberg, Carney gave a direct one-word response after being pressed multiple times — “yes” — confirming Netanyahu would be arrested if he entered Canada under the ICC warrant.
That statement sparked criticism from some Conservatives, including MP Roman Baber, who represents York Centre. “What?” Baber wrote on X. “Hamas thanked Carney when he derailed a peace proposal on the eve of a trade deal deadline with the USA. Now Hamas is publicly executing competing Palestinian factions. But @MarkJCarney tells Bloomberg he would arrest PM Netanyahu? Astonishing!”
Casey Babb, a senior fellow at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, also criticized Carney’s remarks, writing: “We’ve let terrorist organizations turn our country into an ATM, but the leader of the only Jewish state in the world isn’t welcome here. Make it make sense.”
The amount of times this goof talks out of both sides of his mouth is insane! I hope Trump destroys this guy...may be bad for Canada short term but in the long run it'll be better for us all.
Carny would arrest Netanyahu?
If there was ever any doubt about where Carny wants to lead Canada, that doubt is now gone.
This do-nothing excuse for a PM, forced on us by the WEF has now further opened the floodgates of Muslim immigration by sanctioning Hamas and further violence. Klaus Schwab was correct, if incomplete in his statement. The WEF has not only "penetrated" Canada's Parliament, It has impregnated it - with the idiocy virus.
Does anyone believe that Hamas is going to disarm itself and cease all violence? Does anyone believe they are not already planning the next Oct 7? Or worse.
Carny has chosen sides for us. Threatening to arrest Netanyahu, along with his previous statement about Muslim values being Canadian values, puts him - and thereby Canada - squarely on the side of Hamas and the Muslim world, and squarely against Israel and the USA. This betrayal will not be forgotten by either.
He has stated publicly that he is proud of his Globalist views. But with all his elite education - which appears to teach arrogance, entitlement and dismissiveness as virtues - they seem to have left one subject out of his curriculum - geography.
Carny is doing everything possible to alienate the political and economic behemoth that we share a 5,000 mile border with. But that physical border is not going away and is not subject to the whims and delusions of Carny and the European one-worlders in Davos.
Like it or not, for better or for worse, we are tied - ankle, hip, and shoulder - to the USA. And that is not going to change until the continents drift apart again, about a billion years from now.
