Canadians are about to be hit with a stamp price hike as the failing Crown corporation, Canada Post, tries to offset losses that are quickly approaching $1 billion.
All it will take to totally wipe CP off the face of the planet is for some entrepreneurial courier company to make a move to put basic mail delivery in the ballpark of putting a stamp from the failed Crown Corporation on the letter.
Good job Canada Post.
One more stamp price increase may just about do it.
Canada Post needs a major over haul, there is no need for residential daily door to door service for flyers. Once a week will suffice or set up mail boxes at the end of the street
Is that a surprise . Only the government wouldl raise the price on something they aren't selling as much of . That would be like raising the price of EVs because they aren't selling . They need to be shutdown or sold off .
Higher cost to use and less service . They are going to price themselves right out of a job .
I had a card returned from my Daughter as not able to deliver , not at this address . The PO box address is well over 35 years old .
My PO had no idea why it was returned when I inquired , but they put my card in a huge PP envelope and sent it back to the same address and this time it went through .
