Calgary City Council candidate Landon Johnston believes that a home surveillance video obtained by True North shows incumbent Calgary councillor Peter Demong allegedly removing a neighbour’s campaign sign advertising Johnston’s bid for Ward 14.

Johnston told True North that he only recently obtained the video, but that he had already filed a police report and that the police confirmed to him that the case had been approved. He said he hopes police will pursue theft and mischief charges.
