Notice that the people paying the bill are kept in the dark.... Just like the Howe Bridge fiasco....time will tell. The truth always comes out in the end.

The reports exist. The practice remains the same.

Hoekstra is a great Ambassador. Just ignore the idiots that dont know any better!!

With a US Ambassador competent to clearly talk about issues it makes one wonder why there is a petition to send home home.

Although he is not directly involved with the details of the negotiations, US Ambassador Hoekstra has been one of the few sources willing to discuss the nature and progress of the situation. IMO those signing the demeaning petition are TDS proponents who live in a delusional reality.

TDS is so high in Canada it is pitiful to watch . I think US Ambassador Hoekstra is a good man for the job. I sure like him and he is speaking honestly .

...LOOK.!!..You arsewipe "politicians" knock off these press confrence "updates" till you've ALL got a final deal signed ...and tell us all the details THEN..(I'm lookin' at you MARK..👀..)..

..after 12 years of this constant bullshit..and almost 68...prison and death lose their threat significantly..😎

How can we "look at" MARK...he's always out going around the world ON OUR TAXES to make deals for brookfields' assets management. I DOUBT HE HAS ANY INTEREST IN THE 4O MILLION CITIZENS IN CANADA AND THE MASSIVE NUMBERS OF NEW, USELESS IMMIGRANTS THE LIBERALS NEED TO KEEP THEM IN A MAJORITY IN PARLIAMENT. FRAUDS, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM BECAUSE NONE OF THEM WANT TO LOSE THEIR OUTRAGEOUS SALARY WITH TAXPAYER DOLLAR BUMPS-UP TWICE A YEAR.

When the deal details arrive ...

Make up your own minds on what you think at the appropriate time ....

Frankly if Supply Management is mitigated and things work out better for steel, aluminum, the auto sector and American alcohol returns to the shelves things might start improving in terms of life for a great many Canadians.

Will one or more Premiers (you know of whom I am thinking) mess things up as they have been doing previously ... We shall see. The devil is in the details (as stated in the video).

Fingers crossed that a good working relationship with Canada's largest and most reliable trading partner can begin to be restored. One that has gone into the toilet for the last few years courtesy of the farce that has been bad governance and leadership.

A turn around would be welcomed I think on both sides.

Further it would be a huge bonus in both the short and long terms to slow down and mitigate as much as possible what appears to be an ever growing relationship with China (who are friends are nobody). A relationship that can and will only hurt Canada and Canadians in the near and longer terms. Remember the reality is that the USA has been and will hopefully remain a friend (and defender) of Canada. China IS NEITHER.

May the last words that are spoken by the American Ambassador be so at day's end.

Details to follow but consider the following (also posted yesterday for another article on the subject.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

According to Bank of Nova Scotia:

Approximately 65.5% of Canada's total two-way international trade occurs with the United States, while roughly 75% to 78% of all Canadian goods exports go specifically to the U.S. market. From the U.S. perspective, Canada accounts for roughly 15% to 20% of total U.S. goods trade.

.... This is why an agreement should be far more important to Canada then the US .....

From the WWW:

Total two-way trade in goods and services with the United States accounts for roughly 50% to 65% of Canada's total nominal GDP. Looking specifically at merchandise exports alone, Canadian goods sent to the U.S. make up about 23% to 25% of Canada's GDP, with total cross-border goods and services interchange forming the vast majority of Canada's international commerce.

U.S. trade with Canada equals roughly 3% to 4% of the total U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Total two-way goods and services trade sits near $900 billion annually, which is a much smaller share of the massive U.S. economy than it is for Canada.

Unfortunately, nothing that comes out of Conman Carney’s mouth can be trusted.

Don't forget, Trump got Carney elected and kept his ratings above water when the bribed Pollsters could not manage it.

The Americans are concerned about Chinese e- vehicles in Canada, but Canada isn’t worried? Seems odd that Canada would support a Chinese industry at the expense of our own.
