Businessman and B.C. Conservative leadership contender Yuri Fulmer says he would prohibit mandatory digital ID for provincial services if he becomes premier, making the issue a central part of his proposed “B.C. Freedom Charter.”
“A mandatory digital ID is a dangerous step towards expanded statism, and a threat to our basic freedoms,” said Fulmer in a post on X.
