How many of these situations are ongoing across the country. Especially when you look at lower mainland BC. Seams the main industry there is crime with, drugs, money laundering, theft, illegal immigration, other things like slavery. I would think there has to be officials involved, including police. Look how dishonest the rcmp have become.

Not all LE officers are corrupt but the good ones are forced to look the other way and say nothing or face harassment and have their promotions halted and safety compromised. Senior under investigation? just retire before the investigation is completed. They'll ensure it takes several years so you play golf on paid leave until your retirement kicks in. Get criminally charged and even convicted? no worries like Staff Sergeant Brad Murray that took the fall for a an alleged drug selling operation supplied by the evidence locker for years. https://www.thespec.com/news/hamilton-region/halton-detective-brad-murray-gets-conditional-discharge-probation-for-stealing-opioids/article_c02f6963-82f7-5fb9-8ca2-5e048380c5b4.html

Or maybe an allegedly impaired TPC wreaking havoc https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/toronto-police-officer-facing-new-charges-after-alleged-on-duty-incident-opp

Paid??? Come on. Maybe they should be taxed on the proceeds of the drug sales? These guys should be fired and belong behind bars not paid while on leave.
