A Winnipeg man waited an astounding 11 hours for an ambulance, and the city is now admitting "significant staffing shortages" are to blame for the shocking failure of emergency services.
And here I thought govt was the biggest employer in the country...wait. they are! This is why we suffer as a sovereign nation today. Only 7800 jobs created in the month of Dec' 25, raising our unemployment to 6.8% and the majority of Dec. job creations was due to govt hiring. I guess hiring visible minorities, women, immigrants, people with gender dysphoria, Indians etc. is proving how stupid Canada's leadership has become, and not just the politicians and bureaucrats, local govt managers have no qualifications either. Yes this means your friends, family and neighbors! I know people in my circle who have been wrongly promoted to a managerial position within govt, controlling millions of tax payers dollars, but they live hand to mouth at home. All govt employees from the PMO all the way down to the lonely old janitor, in all three levels of govt, do not have the fortitude to be able to complete a task. They only go into work everyday for a pay check, benefit pkg and their undeserving pensions. All are over paid and under worked, and none of them could function as an adult in the private sector. I have no respect for anyone who works for the govt! We pay some of the highest taxes ever in this country, we have over million public employees and our service from govt completely sucks. All we here is we are short staffed, from all govt dept. Municipal, Provincial and Federal. I know I wouldn't be proud to admit I work for the govt, and thank Christ, I have had the fortitude to function (very well) in the private sector and I have never been a govt employee!

There is no “free” healthcare. We all pay with our taxes. Yes, we don’t have to pay for each visit to drs or labs, etc., but free it’s not!
