What can Canada learn from Restore Britain?
University of Buckingham professor Eric Kaufmann on the rise of anti-immigration populism across the West
On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show, Candice discusses the growing consensus against open border mass migration. She describes ten years of uncontrolled immigration under Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, on top of three decades of sustained high immigration levels, has undoubtedly changed Canada – for the worse.
Candice talks about the changing public perception and the rise of populism and a restored sense of nationalism across the West, including Canada but also the United Kingdom. Candice welcomes a U.K.-based professor Eric Kaufmann to discuss this phenomenon and a new political party in the U.K. called Restore Britain.
What do they stand for and what can Canada learn from this?
They also discuss the latest political scandals plaguing Labour PM Keir Starmer stemming from the Epstein Files, the rise of the Reform Party under Nigel Farage and how they overtook the Tories.
Finally, they discuss Eric’s recent essay on Canadian identity where he calls on Canadian conservatives to take up the mantle of Canadian pride and patriotism.

I am a Nationalist, and I have no problem saying it. I believe Canada has/had a strong and definitive culture of white Christian European, hard working, civil, problem solving, get er' done type of citizens. We have become a welfare society of sheep, afraid to defend, or unaware of our great history and have nothing to be ashamed of. We have become the world's doormat.
The flame has been lit, in a manner of speaking. The political puppets in power are losing ground as they persist in following the globalist agenda. It's happening with the globalist EU as people realize their money and resources have been funnelled into the rogue regime that controls Ukraine, a region which isn't part of the European Union. The UK government under Starmer will collapse as well, and our Federal Liberal government won't last much longer either. RM
