Hopefully there will be something left to save when there are finally enough votes to kick the Liberals to the curb (or further than that) where they so dearly belong and frankly belonged since 2015 but, as is the Liberal forte where lied to again by the next of a fraudulent and lying entry into the office of PM.
Perhaps Canada will learn.
It does appear that the younger generation might actually be starting to get it and in a good way.
It’s beyond comprehension why, the government thought mass immigration was a good idea. We have smudged out the ability for our youth to “nest” in a home of their own and have families. What were they thinking? Oh that’s right, we are talking about a government that wishes to make life harder and less fair for all us tax paying minions.
I am Conservative and have been for most of my 84 years and while I want the Conservatives to gain power in Ottawa, I think Trudeau has put the entire structure of Gov, and the economy and laws in such a left wing mess that even if we were elected, it is going to be extremely hard for us to change this course in the short term. When I was in martial arts we learned that you use the opponents strength against them and this is the case with Trump. We cannot win by fighting him which most of the world has learned, we need to use his remaining three years wisely. Pick your battles . I hope the young are smarter than our generation.
I, too, at 81 years old am conservative to the core, and worked hard for Conservative parties provincially & federally: provincially, it was rewarding because we Wildrosers pulled back the PCs from their disastrous leftward drift, then defeated Notley's NDP to elect the best premier & government in Canada; federally, it was disheartening to have the useful idiots in the Rest of Canada return Trudeau's disastrous government under Carney back to power. But one must emulate Churchill and 'never, never, never, never, never' give up trying to rescue our once fine nation from the clutches of the radical Left, which includes the Liberals, NDP, Greens and Bloc Quebecois.
So. oh wise one, could you please direct me to an american bank please? Or tell me which US milk and cheese you prefer? Surely, since many canadian bankers and dairy producers are allowed to open and trade "freely" in the US market, the nice canadians allow US banks and dairy producers the same courtesy? You think Trump is the problem while Trump is asking for FAIR trade practices, like US banks having the same access to the canadian market... have US dairy products a fair competitive access to the canadian market. Did you know that, with the communist concept of supply management, you are paying 3 to 4 times what the price of milk and cheese should be if we were under a free market system instead of a socialist-communist one? No? So please, you've lived a good life, have had the best of the best opportunities when you were young, but by voting liberal for most of your life as i suspect, you destroyed our current youth the same opportunities you had. So please, just go to rest so that our youth can have a chance at the same opportunities you had. Let one more liberal vote "die out".

That’s good that our younger generation are going towards the conservatives. Carney has been in power for around 7 months and has taken at least 11 trips overseas, a bit of over kill to say he hasn’t garnered any positive reactions!
Young people should seriously look at relocating to another country. I am doubting this one can be put back on track, even with a change in government. The politicians of the last 10 years have dug a very deep hole. Why would a young professional waste time for the next 10 years in a country that will either get worse or at best stay as it is..

Younger generations seem to want more controls in government without understanding what that could mean. There are several examples in history about countries who were in a time of drastic change and the people voted for what they thought would bring them a more controlled and prosperous life, and then realized their mistakes afterward. The Conservatives say they don't interfere with people "thriving" in life. That's fine for those who are thriving. What about those who are striving to make ends meet, and those who are struggling to survive in this country. The Conservatives don't have any plans for them. The Liberals are the centrist party and usually provide balance. However, we're living in a time of some pretty drastic changes and finding that balance is not always easy. The NDP talks about increasing support for everybody. (which is more along the lines of my own beliefs). The challenge is, how to make it a reality. How do you convince a company to set up business here, in Canada, a country that is right next to a country that has 10X the domestic market than Canada does. Then how do you convince them to set up business here and convince them to contribute to this country in taxes? The Green Party never seems to be able to get it together. They have a decent platform. We're living at a time when the environment is showing us that something has to change in the way we do things and think about the environment that all of us live in. So why can't the Green Party develop into something stronger, both provincially and federally. My main thought is 'be careful for what you wish. You just may get it".
