On the latest episode of ‘Not “Sorry”’ host Alexander Brown peels back the curtain on how our roads are increasingly dangerous because of disreputable practices within the trucking business.
All East Indian trucking companies operating in Canada should be shutdown immediately. DOT, Immigration and CBSA need to held accountable for thieve failures.
100% sir. And the 'accountable' part of your statement is critical - jail [not spas or go free with no and any bail]....jail. And if they have a litany of violations - prison time. Hard time; like 5+ years for reckless endangerment with something far more dangerous than a legal firearm!
This needs to be addressed ASAP. Thanks for writing about this and having Gord Magill on to talk about this. Totally not surprised that Buttegieg and Biden, rather than fix a problem made it worse in the USA. But Canada's gov't is also to blame from immigration on down to regulation of this industry. Truckers NEED to speak our language.
All training programs are subject to provincial and federal law. The government officials responsible are not correcting this problem which is been happening for close to ten years. Therefore they must bear responsibility for their negligence. Every man woman and child killed by an incompetent driver can be explained by getting to the root of the problem. It all starts at the top. These politicians have blood on their hands. If weak and woke politicians refuse to address the ultimate cause of these preventable deaths the people will have no choice but to act.
The last I seen, driver training and licensing is done by private driver schools. And a lot of those schools are run by foreigners, mostly east indian. And they are not trustworthy. Look at who are the driver licensing officers, many east indian, hired by the DOT.
One of the main problems of a driver shortage, is that the companies don't want to train drivers. Same with any industry. They want new experienced personnel, but there is no way for a person to get that training and experience. Companies are their own worst enemy when it comes to employment. Next they treat their personnel like a piece of equipment, park you in a corner until needed. There is absolutely no need for foreign workers in the any industry.
This is not confined to the trucking industry. The delivery industry is also overwhelmingly East Indian driving erratically through our cities in vehicles not fit for the road. Not obeying traffic signs, speeding, doing U-turns where ever they please. Looking at their orders or phones. Windows with illegal tint and Punjabi writing or scenes on the vehicles.
I followed one a month ago swerving , looking down, crossing over into oncoming traffic. I got beside him at the light and got his attention. I told him “in Canada we look ahead not down when we drive. You’re going to kill someone.”
Only the fact that I am an experienced driver with a very manoeuvrable car was I able to avoid a collision when two semis driven by South Asians entered the Trans Canada Highway from a side road without yielding to oncoming traffic. When the leading driver entered the right (curb) lane of the four lane divided highway, the second driver followed him but into the passing lane of the four lane highway directly toward my car, and forcing me further left onto the paved shoulder to avoid what would certainly have been a fatal collision. I was quickly able to swing back onto the passing lane and around these WOG imbeciles but left me wondering about the fate of a relatively inexperienced motorist when faced with a similar situation.
Individuals who grew up driving elephants should be kept away from Canadian highways.

The companies need to fined mega bucks when caught with incompetent drivers.
The open ended migration torrent encouraged and facilitated by the Trudeau-Carney Liberals has surrendered the highways to Third World lawlessness.
What, if any, is the significant difference between trucking on Indian roads and trucking on Canadian roads that very often pass through Brampton?

I was told to F$CK OFF, GO BACK TO ENGLAND, C$NT.
It’s every industry, retail, everywhere!
Right!!!

Truckers are being used and paid by cartels to run illicit drugs between Canada and the US…..just another aspect of driver issues!
