WATCH: Montreal Church ATTACKED during service led by Christian musician, police stand down

Christian rock singer and worship leader Sean Feucht is warned of Montreal’s “anti-Christian bigotry” and then sees it FIRST HAND as his church service is attacked with smoke bombs

On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show, Candice outlines the story of Sean Feucht, an American Christian singer and worship leader who has been censored and attacked for the crime of holding mainstream values and touring across Canada.

Candice walks us through the anatomy of this smear campaign – started by a Liberal MP in Halifax and the CBC. The state broadcaster labeled Sean Feucht “MAGA” and asserted that his views were harmful and hateful. Without a shred of evidence, they claimed his views upset the “2SLGBTQ+ community” and said he opposed “abortion rights and critical race theory.”

Because of this activism masquerading as journalism, woke bureaucrats used their powers to revoke concert permits. According to Juno News, “Feucht’s cross-country tour has been met with growing resistance, including cancelled outdoor events in Halifax, Charlottetown, Moncton, Gatineau, Quebec City, and Vaughan.”

But it was in Montreal over the weekend that Canada’s woke authoritarian impulses were on full display.

Feucht tells reporters that the police were very courteous but warned of the city’s “anti-Christian bigotry.” Right on cue, a CBC reporter – parroting government talking points – tells Feucht that he’s being shut down because “he doesn’t have a permit.”

“I don’t think you need a permit to worship in a church,” said Feucht.

While petty local officials tried to shut down the service over a “lack of a permit”, radical Antifa activists took matters into their own hands. In the middle of Feucht’s church service, an agitator threw two smokebombs into the church. As Candice explains, this is a clear violation of the Criminal Code and of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

And yet, as has become too common in Canada, the police stood down. There were no arrests and no charges laid.

Canada is in crisis, as Candice lays out. If this were happening to Christians in another part of the world, international voices would be crying out. If this were happening to any other faith group in Canada, this would be the most important story in the country.

But instead, woke politicians continue to fear-monger and tell Canadians that Christians are dangerous and their views are not welcome in Canada. Alberta NDP politicians are now urging the United Conservative (UCP) Government to shut down the upcoming concert in Edmonton.

Feucht’s tour will continue in Western Canada this August and Candice urges all Canadians to attend his concerts to show solidarity and support for basic principles like freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom of expression and freedom of assembly.
