The purpose of leadership is to demonstrate that the individual has specific skills to bring to the table. I find it an embarrassment for this country that our current Prime Minister would seek to curtail freedom of speech yet somehow he enables those in the community who are antisemitic. In Germany, as an example, they passed a law that antisemitism is not tolerated, at all. Rather than trying to stifle freedom of speech, the government would be looked upon more favourably if they denoted where hateful language and expression of same, including terrorist, logos, and the like we’re creating civil unrest. This government much like the Trudeau era government of the same socialistic ideologies. Could it be that these ideologies spawned through the WEF of which our Prime Minister is a member of. To what point can a government stifle freedom of speech? When one takes a look at the United States as another example, Trump wants to stifle anyone who speaks poorly of his administration or who does not follow through on his wishes. As we see in the United States, there have been uprisings in California, Oregon, Chicago and other states where Trump has threatened to bring in the national guard. This is a similar level of confining free speech. The whole notion of free speech is enabling individuals expression of thoughts and ideas not to regulate them or pass laws that prohibit them. These countries and ours included would be far better off, listening to what people have to say, and trying to deal with their expression of ideas, even if they are contrary to government ideologies. The way to grow trust in communities is through listening rather than restricting expression of ideas. Canada and the United States are not socialistic countries, however with their ideas of trying to contain what people say one has to wonder in what direction these so-called leaders are trying to leave their respective countries.

Burning, destruction, looting....all with no consequences.
