WATCH: Liberals promise to fix the crime wave they helped create
'Straight Up' host Marc Patrone is joined by former police officer and security expert Ross McLean to discuss Mark Carney's plans to address Canada's ongoing crime wave
Mark Carney today promised new measures that he says will address the massive crime wave Canadians have been living through in recent years.
The numbers speak for themselves, and aren’t pretty.
Can Canadians really trust that the Liberals will fix the mess that they themselves helped to create over the last decade? Or are the Liberals just trying to look like they’re doing something while not actually addressing the problem?
And even if Carney is sincere in his proposals, can we expect Liberal-appointed judges to overrule Parliament’s laws - as they have done repeatedly in the past?
‘Straight Up’ host Marc Patrone is joined by former police officer and security expert Ross McLean to break down Carney’s announcement.
What will it take to fix the terrible mess our country is in? You’ll want to watch this honest take from someone who has personally patrolled the streets!
Marc and Ross also discuss Pierre Poilievre’s accusing the RCMP of playing political favourites by declining to press charges over Justin Trudeau’s SNC Lavalin scandal.
Marc also shares his thoughts on a recent CBC ‘comedy’ sketch that mocked those concerned with Ottawa’s plan to kill 400 ostriches in British Columbia.
This WILL NOT happen. The Liberals don't fix things just break things. And Yes, I agree with Pierre and the ones that brought this mess upon us should be punished.
“Can Canadians really trust that the Liberals will fix the mess that they themselves helped to create over the last decade?” In a word, no.
