Kinew was confronted Wednesday over a resurfaced 2005 rap video, days after Nova Scotia energy minister Marco MacLeod resigned over his own offensive lyrics.

“The energy minister in Nova Scotia resigned over misogynist rap lyrics,” the reporter said.
“There’s a video of one of your videos going around, not much different in terms of certain words being used — different era, different context, I will agree.”
Asked about MacLeod resigning while he remains premier, Kinew had one word: “No.”
