Trudeau purposely legislated the catch and release program to create chaos in the country. Then when the vast majority of drug and street gun crime is caused by illegal guns being smuggled across the US/ Canada border, Trudeau invokes a gun buy back program, basically a confiscation of guns legally purchased by law abiding gun owners, which will cost somewhere between 2 billion and 6 billion taxpayers money. Police officers can't remember the last time a legal gun owned by a legal firearm owner was used in a crime. Canadians need a more informed, a more fair and common sense PM as this is an absurd policy. Meanwhile Carney is reducing the RCMP budget by 98 million dollars, a decision that will surely exacerbate gun crime in this country, at time when we need more law enforcement in this country. This would be a policy that would originate from the likes of Trudeau, so nothing has changed. We still have deranged policy making in this country ... anyone surprised... I'm not.
Just my opinion : criminals have too many rights and we have been getting softer and softer on them. I thought this for decades. When will our country and its leaders wake up. Almost seems like never to me! So sad.
