Broadcaster Greg Brady joins 'Not "Sorry"' host Alexander Brown to dissect the first 6 months of Mark Carney's government
In the latest episode of ‘Not "Sorry"’ on Juno News, host Alexander Brown delivered another unapologetic dive into Canada's political quagmire, this time with guest Greg Brady, the sharp-witted broadcaster and recent Conservative candidate. Brady, known for his prolific broadcasting stint on Toronto's airwaves and even calling Super Bowls for audiences in the U.K., brings a refreshing dose of common sense to mainstream media.
As a "fierce advocate for building bridges through conversation," he joins Brown in dissecting everything from foreign policy blunders to domestic economic woes, all while critiquing a rocky Carney start, marked by hollow gestures and recycled Trudeau-era failures.

The episode kicked off with a pointed discussion on Canada's recent recognition of a Palestinian state, announced via a sneaky Sunday news dump. Brown presses Brady on how this move, acknowledging an authority absent democratic elections since the early 2000s, risks emboldening hostage-takers like Hamas and fuelling weekly protests in the West that continue to threaten Jewish communities. Brown notes his great sympathy for the humanitarian toll, as does Brady, but both argue it's a dangerous endorsement of unrest.
Brady highlights how such decisions prioritize international posturing over domestic stability. Amid heightened tensions, this policy seems less about peace and more about virtue-signalling and playing to demographics in the polls, rewarding bad actors while ignoring Canadian streets ablaze with division. Shifting gears, Brown explores Brady's political ambitions, referencing his May piece in The Hub where he outlined his attempts at a "Triple Crown": sports broadcasting, news broadcasting, and politics. "Why would you want to add politics to the mix?" Brown quips, prompting Brady to reflect on his Ajax run in the federal election, lessons abound on the doors, and the value he places on serving his community, and how his ideals best aligned with the federal Conservative campaign.
For all the hollowness of “Elbows up” and early performative Liberal stunts, it’s authenticity that cuts through gas-lighting and spin, and more candidates like Brady should be encouraged to run, or put forward by the Liberals and Conservatives, if we truly hope to leave the last decade in the rearview.
Their bond forged during COVID, when Brady platformed Brown's critiques of Trudeau and Ford's handling of 2020-2022, adds depth. Brown recalls Brady's bravery in allowing him to join ‘Toronto Today’ to cover Covid mandates and the Freedom Convoy while mainstream media shied away.
The two lament the "social contagion" of external distractions, and how global panics overshadow homegrown issues. "We should focus on domestic priorities without throwing the baby out with the bathwater," Brown urges, a theme that segues seamlessly into skewering Carney.
Brown further eviscerates the Build Canada Homes initiative as a "debacle," citing a Potemkin village stunt where a housing announcement featured staged construction and a unit assembled for cameras, only to vanish hours later. Reporter Bryan Passifiume's photos reveal the site reduced to an excavator and bulldozer. The Carney Liberals aren’t building homes, they’re building illusions, and concerned Canadians are taking now, as they are with similarly faked photo-ops during trade discussions with Mexico.
As U.S.-Canada trade talks stall, credit for ‘Major Projects’ involves misleading the public on projects already well-underway, and lofty promises crumble, Brady and Brown question Carney's early grasp on realities facing everyday Canadians. This may well be working for the elites and those on the big government dole, but once again the Liberals are failing working Canadians and Canada’s future.
In a nation weary of false starts, this episode is a must-listen call for real change.

Yes, FAKE, but so very impressive for too many Canadian voters. If they only understood the economic damage THEY are very likely paying to be impressed by this FAKE.
What a fraud Carney is....the 'elbows up' BS and pretending to be all anti-Trump then the guy goes and acts like Trump with his fake executive orders like the one he pulled with the carbon tax and then the Palestine state one. AND the lows the mainstream media will go to to cover for Carney and their fake house and all. What is wrong with voters in Canada?!
