Just another...

THEY ARE NOT IN THIS FOR YOU.

Certainly not for your comfort.

... SO ... Canada seems again to have a theme.

Their commercials are also a fraud.

And why would this be a surprise to anyone?

The reason's my wife and I have chosen not to fly anymore: 1. We will not support any business whom willingly participated in helping the govt revoke personal rights, freedoms and civil liberties. 2. Flying is convenient, but has always been very uncomfortable. 3. The complete chaos we witness daily in our airports. 4. The loss of money due to luggage loss, flight cancellations, flight postponements etc. 5. Charging passengers to store their luggage in the belly of the plane and allowing other passengers to stuff the overhead compartments full with oversized luggage for free and we payers of luggage have to suffer the inconveniences of waiting to disembark because of the abuse from these other passengers. And now this! Lets go RVing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That looks terrible. But premium economy on Westjet (and Porter) isn't very expensive. Premium is sort of normal now.

...for now !!..

It almost seems as if, in the near future, air travel will be only for the Elite..and UN Liberal immigrants...and WE will have even less physical contact with our family / friends and employment opportunities. C'mon WW3..

I agree. It seems that is the intent, especially when I read about the cabin divider to separate the economy cabin. Class warfare. Divide and conquer.

Question: Where is the video? It appears to have been removed from every site that it appeared on. Perhaps there is someone who has posted it somewhere - somewhere where West Jet can't remove it!

West Jet was bad when it first started and is now an impossible choice for me. I had problems with their seats at 31". 28" is even worse than most of the European short haul cheap flights.

The only competitor for worst seats in Canada is Rouge - spent two years on a 5 hour flight from Toronto to Kelowna and have vowed never to travel Rouge again.

The line about westjet being concerned about safety is rubbish. They have safety guidelines to follow so why bring that up? I am 170 cm / 5'7" tall and have hip and back issues. If I had to squish myself into a spot like the one in the video, they'd probably have to cut me out of the seat after a flight longer than 30 minutes 🙃. What we need in this increasingly communist country is something called competition and less government interference. Maybe then Westjet and Air Canada would treat their customers with some respect.
