Rev. Larry Holland, a Catholic priest recovering from a hip fracture at Vancouver General Hospital in B.C., was reportedly offered state-sponsored euthanasia multiple times despite making clear he morally opposes the federally sanctioned medical suicide program.

According to pro-life groups and Catholic news outlets, including Canadian Catholic News, Holland — a priest who has studied end-of-life chaplaincy services and served in the Archdiocese of Vancouver — is speaking out after repeatedly being offered Canada’s “Medical Assistance in Dying” program.
