A U.S. Democratic senator is calling on the Carney government to permanently repeal the Liberals’ digital service tax as part of ongoing trade negotiations between Canada and the U.S.

The call to repeal the tax came after a bipartisan delegation of four U.S. senators met with Prime Minister Mark Carney in Ottawa on Monday.
