Two U.S. Congressmen have issued a scathing rebuke of Canada’s wildfire response, accusing the Liberal government of poor forest management and failing to prevent human-caused fires that continue to blanket American and Canadian cities in smoke.

In a letter sent on July 7, Representatives Tom Tiffany and Brad Finstad called on Canadian Ambassador Kirsten Hillman to demand an explanation from Ottawa on what the Liberals are doing to mitigate the wildfire crisis that has sent toxic air across the border for consecutive summers.
