54 per cent of Canadian workers view DEI workplace initiatives positively, compared to only 16 per cent who viewed them negatively.
The United States may be moving away from diversity, equity and inclusion practices in the workplace following U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive orders last year. Still, most companies in Canada are sticking with it.
The Trump administration has long campaigned against DEI, most recently banning its use by federal contractors and subcontractors in March, which resulted in corporations such as Meta, Amazon and Google abandoning many of those programs entirely.
