With the RCMP gradually losing all respect in the West (refusal to investigate the Federal Government’s multiple scandals & crimes), Alberta’s move away from the Federal -controlled police force is a welcome change.
This is good news and its refreshing to see that the government is continuing getting all the ducks in a row for a potential independant Alberta...The sooner the Alberta government can release and remove the RCMP permanently from Alberta and replace them with an Alberta provincial police service the better.....The sooner Alberta gains its independance from the massively corrupt, and authoritarian liberal regime the better....Lets get Bill 15 passed ASAP....
Only citizens should be employed in police work. Immigrants bring their cultures with them, and that should not be a part of our legal system in any way shape or form.
Here's hoping that Canadians get first chance at these jobs and not hire foreign workers first, as was the plan!

Very very good point - if Alberta imports a single foreigner for even ONE of these new cop jobs, I want to see the UCP strung from the gallows pole!
If they were to allow foreign workers into these jobs, they might as well just leave things the way they are.

Good start but send the RCMP their walking papers. We don't need them or want them in the new Free Alberta!!!
