Two alleged members of MS-13 charged with human trafficking in the GTA
Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have yet to come forward, and they encourage anyone with information to contact authorities.
Two alleged members of the Mexican-based street gang MS-13 are facing human trafficking charges following a months-long investigation by Peel Regional Police dubbed Project Mermaid.
According to Peel Police, the investigation was first launched in November 2025 after police received allegations that a woman was being trafficked and sexually exploited throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
