U.S. President Donald Trump is threatening sweeping economic retaliation against Canada, warning he would impose a 100 per cent tariff on all Canadian goods if Prime Minister Mark Carney finalizes a trade deal with China.

Trump issued the warning in a Truth Social post on Tuesday. The remarks came shortly after Carney delivered a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos criticizing the United States.
